I have to say that I am and have always loved my Homework Packet that I send home to students. It works well with my routine, reviews concepts taught in class and is a great way to get parents involved.
I just posted my {September 2012 Homework Packet} on my TpT Store. It comes with an Instruction/Calendar Page, corresponding work pages and Reading Log.
The activities include: handwriting, beginning sound, vowels, word
families, addition, counting, shapes, colors, writing, sight words,
technology, and more! Here is a little peek...
Simply print this document double sided. Send home on the first Monday of the
month. The students and their families complete the 4 activities during
the week and return the packet each Friday with that week of work
completed and a parent initial. Check the students' work each week and
either initial or place a sticker if the work is completed. Send the
packet home again the next Monday and repeat.
I hope that you find this resource useful to your classroom! Have a great first day back at school!
Your blog is adorable! I am a new follower.
